What are some general handbuilding pottery ideas?
At my school, i am in a thing called independent study where i have two hours to hand build pottery. My teacher wants me to write a list of general ideas for pottery. What i have is: Vases, candle holders, tea sets, and dish sets. I don't know what else i could create but i need a nice list at least. Anyone help please? I have to turn this in soon and i'm imagining what i can do only in those catagories. Just some suggestions??

- I like making replicas of stuff, you can do alot with replicas like enlargements, modifications, etc. You can also turn replicas into candle holders for example I've made a giant quarter (as in about 10 in. in diameter) and also a statue of liberty candle holder.
- Hand building allows you a great freedom to get away from standard forms which are thrown. The Penland Ceramics book, which can be sampled here http://books.google.com/books?id=USCqlMn1l1AC&pg=PA8&dq=Penland+Ceramics&ei=RSanSqOTJoWyNoyX1YUK&client=firefox-a#v=onepage&q=&f=false has an astonishing variety of various handbuilt projects. Ideally it should be in your school or city library.
