If Evolution were true.....then why no recorded human history before 4000 BC?

Evolutionists claim that man evolved over millions/billions years ago. If there were any truth to these false claims, then man's historical record should span back at least hundreds-of-thousands of years, if not millions One of the simplest and best proofs that evolution is a joke, is the FACT that there is NO recorded history prior to 4,000 B.C. The world's history is CLEARY defined by SIX world powers since time began: Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, and Rome. There is no record of a cataclysmic event that destroyed mankind prior to 4,000 B.C. Do you think it's a mere coincidence that the Word of God is so concise on world history? If I were an evolutionist, I would be extremely disturbed by this FACT. Prove me wrong! I dare you to show me any recorded civilization before 4,000 B.C. And I don't mean some pottery jug or item that you claim is 14,000 years old--Show me any evidence of civilization prior to 4,000 B.C Oh sure, some stubborn evolutionists are going to start talking about carbon-dating, archeological findings, etc. BUT, the bottom line is that the history of mankind should be traceable far beyond 4,000 B.C., going back million of years IF evolution were true. http://www.jesus-is-savior.com/Evolution%20Hoax/4000.htm NOTE: I am openly challenge you to explain the above and ANSWER the question, and NOT to avoid the question by telling me to go to school or read a book. That's also willful ignorant due to your sinful pride. I could think of few verses in the bible that describes you.

  1. Okay.Does Egypt ring a bell to you? OR maybe India? PS. It took humans a long time to create written language so... Oh and also if you won't accept ancient pottery and weaponry this is pointless as you are ignorant of evidence
  2. I'm eating lunch right now :)
  3. You won't accept archeological findings? Then what is it exactly that you will accept? Without archeology there is no ancient history. And recorded history was only possible when complex societies arose, as a consequence of farming. No administration and priests means no compelling reasons to write anything in a system others can understand. Hunter-gatherers don't write. Also, modern humans have been around for about 30.000 years, not millions.
  4. Boy are you dumb. Evolutionists do not claim that man evolved millions of years ago.
  5. Call me ignorant if you like but explore the British Museum website.
  6. Geez you're not to bright are you?
  7. "Oh sure, some stubborn evolutionists are going to start talking about carbon-dating, archeological findings, etc." What else would we use? I restate my earlier point: Get an education.
  8. I guess you're unaware of how languages and written languages were developed. Ah well. Ignorance is bliss I suppose. And the irony of you calling us ignorant is too much. By the way - ever hear of cave drawings and sculptures? How about the Sumerians? Are you aware that if the universe was created 6,000 years ago that means it was created after the Sumerians invented glue? 6000 is not even a Biblical number by the way - that's a number guessed by adding up the ages of people in the Bible.
  9. If the bible is true, why have no mountains moved due to faith alone?
  10. You're joking, right? Are you seriously telling me you have no recollection of ancient Sumerian peoples? You're telling me the early Indo-European artwork does not exist? Seriously?
  11. No one is claiming human beings as we know them today existed for millions of years! We were evolving during that time! Do you really expect humanity to create civilizations while our ancestors were still small mammals?
  12. This is the same as saying: Music didn't exist before the 1980's because CD's weren't invented yet! There was no written language that far back, that is why there is no recorded history. Additionally, when they did, they carved it into stone because paper wasn't invited yet.
  13. Ever heard of Cave Paintings Hovind-tard?
  14. Pre-history is from before writing was invented. There is a plethora of prehistoric sites, and the transitions from crude stone tools, to advanced stone tools and the evolution of writing from petroglyphs and cave paintings is evident to anyone who isn't dead set of clinging to outmoded preconceptions.
  15. "Evolutionists claim that man evolved over millions/billions years ago." -- You ask us not to tell you to read a book, but you obviously never have.
  16. Aren't there numerous examples of arts and crafts dating back much much further than that? For example, this is from 29,000 to 25,000 BC... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Venus_of_Dolni_Vestonice.png
  17. "And I don't mean some pottery jug or item that you claim is 14,000 years old--Show me any evidence of civilization prior to 4,000 B.C" "some stubborn evolutionists are going to start talking about carbon-dating, archeological findings" First you ask for evidence, then you put restrictions on what we can use as answers. You must really be insecure about your own beliefs if you have to resort to tricks like that. Let me turn it back on you. Give me evidence that the Bible is all true. And don't start spouting bible verses or statements.
  18. I guess you've never stepped into a museum. Glue was invented in about 200,000 BC.
  19. There is. Quite a bit actually. We can track every migration with MtDNA and that includes an approximate date as well. We know for example there were three separate migrations across the Bering Straight for example, the first one was a lot older than expected until the archeology caught up. But that aside, we had to progress to that point sometime. The whole thing is that evolution is it has a progression. You are saying that we should have been able to write (apparently in English since you dismiss mountains of physical evidence) as soon as we evolved. Evolution makes no such claims.
  20. How can anyone prove anything to you when you simply deny it without any thought? There a a huge body of DNA evidence for a common ancestor of H. sapiens and H. neanderthalensis, dating back as far back as 660,000 years ago. Once again, we see a troll using the term "evolutionist" who doesn't have even the most rudimentary knowledge of basic human biology. Get an education.
  21. There are fire pits in Africa dating back at least 1.8 million years, and cave paintings from well before writing was invented. The earliest known European cave paintings date to Aurignacian, some 32,000 years ago. The Bhimbetka rock shelters exhibit the earliest traces of human life in India. A number of analyses suggest that some of these shelters were inhabited by humans for in excess of 100,000 years. That's not evidence of human history?
  22. Wow O.o you were certingly sheltered as a child wearnt you. i feel so sorry for you :(
  23. Exactly! Where are the skeletal remains? We have dinosaurs and lots of them, man came later. They found a fossil of a lemur and all of a sudden that's the evidence of the "family tree" that they fell out of.
  24. it is traceable back further than 4000 bc, its called fossils. You know skeletons and such. And the beginning of recorded history and the beginning of history are not the same thing. With that logic the star "Atheffeud" just started to exist now because i just wrote it down, so it now exist. Your logic is divinely flawed.
  25. Never heard of Lascaux, it seems. They are cave paintings done by human over 16,000 years ago. If you're expecting to find written language from the moment of mankind, you're really stupid. Man didn't develop written language until he developed societies. The hunter-gatherer people didn't have any need for it, but they existed long, LONG before that. Human history even dates back to the Toba explosion that was over 70,000 years ago and accounts for the near-extinction of mankind. Just because you're close-minded to the myriad evidence doesn't make it disappear. You can claim carbon dating is bogus and the lack of writing means there wasn't anyone to write it, but you only look like the moron you apparently are. If you're going to throw out archeological evidence, then your bible is just a bunch of stories and were likely written by modern people. Without the support of other evidence that tells us when it was written, it definitely is not what you claim it is. The cool thing about evolution, though, is your belief in it is not required in order to make it seem real. It is a fact. And truthfully, it's not the science that applies to your burblings. You're talking anthropology.
  26. Sure. Evolution is false. You know what else if false ? The so called 'round Earth' theory. Utter nonsense. You know what else is false ? The theory that bats don't lay eggs. And that locusts have 6 legs. Utter hogwash. Having taken your measure and found you wanting for the past 3 years, I now feel completely justified in not even bothering to read such posts. I read just enough to see that the poster is a creationist and then a little light that says 'moron' goes off in my head. But hey, at least you're not one of those Christians who tries to make evolution and the big bang fit into Genesis, calling everything a metaphor. Those douchebags are really pathetic. At least you have balls. Or ovaries.
  27. Did you forget Sumeria? What about hundreds of thousands of petrolyphs and cave paintings? How can you not know about the remains of habitations and tools that we have found? You also seem to have forgotten that Australia has been inhabited by the same culture for over 40,000 years and that the same people have been in the Americas for around 13,000 to 15,000 years. Then too, we know that the neolithic tribes in the Nile valley developed into the Egyptian culture. Oh, and the most glaring omission is that you completely ignored the Asian cultures that rivaled or surpassed those that you mentioned. Please feel free to try again when you actually have learned something about history. Edit: On the evolution front, modern humans evolved around 250,000 years ago although there is some debate on what makes a "modern human". Further, various hominids have show varying leaves of abstract thought and tool usage and we see this also in other primates. Edit: As for being willfully ignorant, it is apparent that you are way past "willful ignorance", especially as you have demonstrated that you are completely unaware of what you do not know. Yes, you really need to read many books about archeology, anthropology, and geology to name a few. Personally, I blame your teachers as they completely failed to teach you anything.
  28. Wow. The stupid just drips from this.
  29. If you are going to be that skeptical about scientific dating systems, why would a bit of writing change your mind? Unless the writing was dated by the author, it would be difficult to prove its age without using any of the scientifically accepted methods of dating. Humans have not had written language for very long - perhaps something like 5500 years or so. That would leave plenty of space for people who think that the earth is 6000 years old. However, human writing, and in fact, human remains, are not the only indicators of the age of the Earth. But no matter what evidence science presents to you, you will not accept it, because you have already accepted the premise that the Earth is only so many thousands of years old - anything contradicting that assumption is automatically suspect to you. So, what could I tell you that would possibly convince you? Do you think that you'd be able to convince a devout Muslim that their prophet did not fly to the moon on a winged horse? Of course not, because when people have made up their minds to believe something on faith, they do not even consider contrary evidence or arguments. In fact, they take pride in having faith that cannot be shaken by evidence and reason. You are one of those people, and it would be an exercise in futility to try to contradict you.
  30. Early methods of writing used media like cuneiform on clay tablets and papyrus sheets...not exactly the most lasting of things. Just how do you expect such to last for one millennium, let alone dozens?
  31. Egypt goes back to about 6000 years ago. The city states of Sumer have been going just as long. They both left written records and artifacts, look it up. Oh sorry I forgot you don't accept any evidence that goes against your narrow view point. Let say this in simple words you may understand, learn stuff by reading books, that's what they are there for.
  32. Writing was invented around 4,000 BC, so there was no *written* history before then. How could there be? It's just a fact that that's when it was invented. Agriculture began 8,500 - 7,000 BC. People were making pottery in Korea in 6,000 BC. Cave paintings date back to 30,000 BC. The earliest known battle took place between 13,000 and 14,000 years ago. Stone tools have been found that are 2.5 million years old. How is this not evidence that you're wrong?
  33. hbbbbbbbbbbbbbbrfff5vgt5vgt5vgt5vgt5vgt5vgt5vgt5vgt5vgt5vgt5vgt5vgt5vgt5vgt5vgtbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb= my head hitting the keyboard repeatedly. Are you really this ignorant of ancient history? Sumeria anyone?
  34. Ray Patterson put his finger on one important problem. Essentially you're saying, "Excluding all possible evidence for civilizations older than 6,000 years, what proof do you have of civilization older than 6,000 years?" Another problem is that evolution has absolutely nothing to do with the timing of the appearance of civilization. The theory of evolution has nothing to say on that subject. Another problem is that you are simply misinformed. Our species, modern man, appeared only 200,000 to 300,000 years ago. To say that civilization should have appeared earlier than it did is monumental hubris. Who are you to say when civilization should have appeared? Did God tell this? There is no evidence of a cataclysm that destroyed man earlier than 6,000 years ago for the simple reason that if man had been destroyed then, we wouldn't be here now. Does that seem like too difficult a concept to grasp? However, there is evidence that man was almost destroyed, and that evidence is the remarkable similarity of all humans to each other. Genetic variability is much smaller than would be predicted had man developed without a genetic bottleneck. 40,000 or 50,000 years ago, man was still confined to East Africa, and that part of the world went through a long, severe drought that almost resulted in man's extinction. 70,000 years ago, Mt. Toba erupted in the South Pacific, causing temperatures to plummet worldwide. That event also may have brought man to the edge of extinction. I would say that your main problem is that you are an uneducated person trying to appear educated. If you want to believe that man is 6,000 years old, fine, do ahead and do that. But it's really galling to see someone like you put on the airs of an educated person and make proposterous claims based on your lack of education. If you want to believe the writings of a small bronze-age, desert tribe some thousands of years ago, OK, but why annoy the rest of us with your ignorance?
  35. one of the most amazing things I find about christians is their willingness and pride in displaying their ignorance of almost any subject you care to name the matter in hand being human history of course
  36. Non sequitur. Why should there have been any agrarian societies with written language before about 4000BCE? Not counting the 35000 year old cave paintings that are the forerunners of modern written language. Discounting perfectly good archaeological evidence is a common trick employed by YECs when trying to shore up their incredibly shaky arguments. Evidence is evidence and has to be taken at face value. Deal with it..
  37. The straight forward answer to your question is that recorded history cannot begin until the animals in question (modern humans, in this case) can record their events and have a desire to. Technically, the definition is history, period. Pre-history defines the period before (recorded) history. There is no history of whales or gorillas or cockroaches, correct? Even though they have existed at least as long as we have... They are a part of our history. Even though they exist they have no history of their own because they have no (1) desire nor (2) method of recording it. The Stone Age, Bronze Age, and Iron Age define the current, specific periods of human prehistory: the periods before recorded history in which we have scientific evidence of existence of modern humans. More than one humanoid species existed in the Stone Age. The modern human species (AMH) - Homo sapiens sapiens -- are NOT millions or billions of years old. Anatomically we are about 200,000 years old.
  38. My fiancee is one of the few remaining historians for her people (NA native). She has knowledge of the people (called the "Ancestors") that lived before the Ice came. This would put it about 25,000 years ago. She has no stories of coming from Asia (about 30,000 years ago), so there are limits, but the recorded history of her people is far older than 4000BC. So, you are quite wrong. The stories she knows were kept in exactly the same way as the early Bible stories - by oral histories, being passed down. There are various techniques for this, like songs, acrostic poems, and so on, used by her people as well as the ancient Hebrews. Thus, you cannot impune the validity of her stores, or you impune the Pentateuch (first 5 books of the Bible, aka the Torah), which were kept exactly the same way. Of interest though is that her people do not officially recognize evolution either. I am white, and she says that while my ancestors may have climbed down from the trees, the Creator put hers here directly. So, you share something in common with her beliefs; but, you have your sense of timing off by over 20,000 years.
  39. "Evolutionists claim that man evolved over millions/billions years ago" True, but that doesn't mean we were human for those billions of years. In fact in the evolutionary chain we only started to resembling a modern human after around 2-3 million years ago. "One of the simplest and best proofs that evolution is a joke, is the FACT that there is NO recorded history prior to 4,000 B.C." You are assuming the recorded history has to be in writing, what about cave drawings? Do they not count? At best, your statement only proves that humans didn't have the intellectual capacity to create a writing system prior to that time. What we would aesthetically call modern humans (i.e. homo sapiens) didn't appear until around 190000 years ago and they only developed the sufficient intellect to start constructing languages around 10000 years ago. "Prove me wrong! I dare you to show me any recorded civilization before 4,000 B.C. And I don't mean some pottery jug or item that you claim is 14,000 years old--Show me any evidence of civilization prior to 4,000 B.C" The Sumerians. Probably the earliest civilisation in the world, appeared between 6000-5500 B.C. and lasted until 2500 B.C. started creating a writing system after 4000 B.C. I don't exactly know how to show evidence of them and prove that it predates 4000 B.C. since you've discredited carbon dating and archaelogical evidence in general. Without such a technique or similar to use as support, I have just as much right to ask you how you arrived at the conclusion that evolution is false and that we didn't exist before 4000 B.C. Because your bible says so? You can't believe everything a book says, you can write anything in a book, you've clearly demonstrated this by disregarding what you've read in science books with evolution (if you've even bothered reading any). What makes the bible's words anymore convincing? Because the bible is older? The epic sumerian poem Gilgamesh, one of the earliest works of fictional literature was written about 2000 B.C. predating even the earliest passages in the old testament by centuries. By this logic this means that Gilgamesh is more convincing as a source of history.
  40. You have made an excellent question here, and I am watching to see what they'll come with next, besides hiding their ignorance behind educated words. It disgusts me to hear such insults over an honest question.I prey that some will see the Light!
  41. This is just a rather weak attempt at a wind-up isn't it.?? What!.... you're actually serious........ nah. You cannot be serious man.
