Amazing Pottery

Where in Massachusetts can I buy pottery clay?

I am looking for a place close to home which sells a decent clay for pottery throwing. I am especially interested in Raku clays if you know of any local companies which carry this product. I have tried craft stores in the area, but they supply mostly modeling clay. (Which can also be used for throwing, but does not work as well.) The nearest location that I could find that carries the type of clay I am looking for is located over an hour away. I was hoping there was something closer.

3. well, it really depends where in MA you live, I am sure it takes more than 1 hour to drive from one end to the other... but there are the addresses of the distributors for laguna clay, maybe one is close to you: http://www.lagunaclay.com/distributors/#MA Otherwise I'd look if there are pottery studios or stores for ceramics in your area consulting the yellow pages. Either should carry a range of different clays.
